The easiest way to get there is to go all the way until the main entrance road dead ends, make a left, and then park near where you see the Bank of America ATM and the playground. It is an open-air shopping center filled with goodies like Chipotle, JCrew, Sur La Table, The Children’s Place, and White House Black Market.Īs you drive in the main entrance of the shopping center, Snip-Its will be located in the section to your left. If you haven’t been before, this is a must-see shopping destination. Snip-its is located in the Shoppes at Farmington Valley in Canton. Please note, his reaction was in no way a reflection on how he was treated at the salon (the lady cutting his hair was super sweet), I’m just hoping this was a normal reaction for a 13-month-old getting their locks clipped for the first time. I just don’t think he was quite as excited about this milestone as I was. I’ll give you a quick hint on how the trip went. But I think I forgot to mention the tagline to Bruiser so that he knew he was supposed to be smiling during this adventure. Their tagline is “Kids haircuts, parties and other things to smile about.” Sounded good to me. We decided to try out Snip-Its in Canton, Connecticut. So the decision was made that Bruiser needed a haircut. (Now that look would be completely acceptable in my home state of South Carolina, but I just don’t think it is going to fly up here in New England country. But it really was starting down the mullet path. But, the reality was that Bruiser’s hair was starting to be a little more mullet-like than cute cousin hairstyle. I just knew that Bruiser’s hair was going to grow in just as curly and cute as his cousin’s. Bruiser’s cousin was the ring bearer in our wedding and I loved his hair. I was envisioning that my sweet boy’s dirty blond locks were going to begin to turn into adorable curls just like his cousin. This was the question my husband and I were asking as we looked at our little boy’s growing head of hair. now back to our regularly scheduled programming. We were just excited and wanted to share. We hope to be able to keep this thing going until we reach 10 million views and have documented every fun place to visit in our great state of Connecticut (of course then we will probably just have to start all over because everything will have changed, but you get my drift). Thank you for reading our silly posts, giving us your feedback and comments, and telling your friends to read our silly posts. Īnyways, we just wanted to send a quick shout out to all of our readers and thank you for helping us get to this number. Have I mentioned to you about the number of views yet? Ok, one more time. Our little blog idea is only 7 months old, but it has been viewed 10,000 times. This is probably chump change for big bloggers, but to us it is a major milestone. Shawna and I are so excited to report that our site hit 10,000 views today! Using this method, there is much less chance of complications and the patient feels more comfortable in stark contrast to the traditional method which is often performed under general anaesthetic, involving cutting through the skin and underlying tissue and blood vessels on each side and requiring sutures.Ok, before I tell you what this silly title is all about, I need to tell you about a bit of good news. The bottom end of each vas is left open (the open-ended technique) to minimise post-operative pain. The centre of the top end of each vas having been sealed (mucosal cautery) and covered with tissue (fascial interposition) using either a tiny clip or a dissolving thread to further prevent them from re-joining. The vasa are located and are gently drawn through the same opening one at a time. It is a unique feature of Dr Snip ‘no scalpel’ microKeyhole ™ surgery. It will close rapidly and heal without needing stitches. A single, small opening only 2-4mm in size is then made in the centre of the scrotum below the penis without a scalpel. The anaesthetic is applied to the vasa using a fine needle with no injections into the testes or penis. The procedure is simple, seamless, and virtually pain free, taking only 10-15 minutes.
